Citric Acid Works
My mate Matt put me onto Coffee for Connoisseurs. Interestingly, they recommend Citric Acid for descaling your espresso machine! Well, I can confidently say that it works. My steam wand was hopeless. Now it's great; it has a new lease of life!
I reckon it'd work on the kettle. I used 10g in a litre of water (Dissolved in some warmer first, then made it up to a litre with cold). Then just followed the instructions on the Coffee Co page (ran it through the machine's group and steam wand alternately).
I'm sure you'd have already come across this, but white vinegar is pretty good in a kettle. Just dilute it a bit (dunno proportions) and give it a boil!
Living in Newtown, Sydney, is a new experience for us. New friends, new cafes, new climate. Studying at Moore College is a new privilege for Bernard. Everything is new for Noah & Lily.

Do you think it would work on the inside of a kettle? What do you do with it anyway?
