Just a couple of shots from the big day...
So, I'm now one pizza stone richer (among other things). Jamie helped me out with what to do with it ;)
Actually, this shot has nothing to do with anyone's birthday. It's just some ricotta cannoli from a patisserie that I love (in Haberfield).
If anyone ever finds a 'Blurriest Photo Competition', let me know: I'll enter this shot. The point of it is to talk up how cool the Moore College library is. How so? Well, this book is about a hundred and fifty years old. That's the oldest book I've ever had out from the library... it's a bunch of letters from some godly ol' coots during the fifteen hundreds. College has heaps of cool old books...
...and yes, the book has been very handy for my essay. I especially liked the bit where a guy (Edmund Grindal) wrote to the queen of England to tell her that he wasn't going to do what she wanted him to. And then he said, "Remember, Madam, that you are a mortal creature." (!) There's nothing like living dangerously :)

Dan
Yeah, our oven is great. It's electric. It heats up pretty quickly. Even our cooktop, for electric, is good - fast, hot, ok control; it's not gas, but hey ;)
