I guess I've got a soft spot for graphic novels. A comic-book-nut friend recently dropped Watchmen into my hands with this advice:
It deserves to be savoured. It took 13 months for the original readers to finish.

Yeah maybe. I only rarely make it to the flicks these days. I'll check it out on DVD, though.
I remember Mikey's post. I was wondering why you wanted to get it from the US. Were you after the original (collected) printing?
Nope - book prices in the States are incredibly cheap.
But mostly to give Mikey a collection mission for the trip :)
I promised him that I wouldn't see the movie until he got back so we could go and geek out together. This makes up for the wait.
