For some time now, folks have touted the Chinese dumplings of Shanghai Night (in Ashfield) as the best in all the land. Well, I can't be sure, but it seems the place next door to them, New Shanghai, is their biggest rival in the best-dumpling stakes.
We went there last week while Kaylene was in town.
Noah ate dumplings like a professional.
Pork and chive dumplings. Shanghai mini pork dumplings. MMmmmm.

Oh man. It's as good as it gets. Cheap as. I'd love to be able to make them.
Oh Al you should come down to our house. Miranda learned the arts while doing chinese at UTAS. They are fine.
Have you had 'Chinese dumplings' I think they are called? Maybe they're not - that seems dumb. Anyway they're big and flat, more like a piklate (?) shape. And delicious!
Yeah, I think there are various shapes. So these ones which we had are the savoury, pork and chives sorts of ones in gow-gee wrapper-like things.
Delish :)
